Identification

Distribution

Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognized, cyanocephala and chlorostephana. This species is sometimes placed in genus Agyrtria.

Habitat

Moist montanes.
