This is a polytypic species[1] consisting of 2 subspecies.
Subspecies
- S. a. albilora:
Eastern Bolivia (eastern Santa Cruz) to interior southwestern Brazil and northern Paraguay
- S. a. simoni:
Pantanal of western Brazil (Araquaia Valley)
Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
