Genus: Schistocichla

Description

Schistocichla would be a genus in the Family Thamnophilidae.

This taxon was previously included in the genus Percnostola but now Clements and H&M have moved all its members to the genus Myrmelastes.

Differenciation of species in this group is based largely on variation in vocalizations (Isler et al. 2007)^[1].
