Genus: Schistocichla

Description

Schistocichla would be a genus in the Family Thamnophilidae.

This taxon was previously included in the genus Percnostola but now all authorities have moved all its members to the genus Myrmelastes.

Differenciation of species in this group is based largely on variation in vocalizations (Isler et al. 2007)^[1].
