Identification

Similar to the African Black-headed Oriole, but yellow plumage is brighter, the central tail feathers are black, and there is more black on the wings.

Distribution

Eastern DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and western Kenya.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Montane forest above 1500 m.
