Identification

16.5 cm. Grey underparts, rufous upperparts, dark rufous-brown head, throat and upperparts, dark grey chest to crissum, black bill.

Distribution

Colombia and Ecuador.

Taxonomy

There are 2 subspecies

  • G r rufocinerea
  • G r romeroana

Habitat

Moist montane forests.

Behaviour

The diet includes insects.
