Distribution

Eastern Bolivia (east Beni, Santa Cruz) and south-central Amazonian Brazil

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Rainforest borders and secondary woodland often near water or marshes.

Behaviour

Diet

It gleans for insects in foliage and often picks its prey from the underside of leaves.

Breeding

They are monogamous. Both adults share the incubation of the 2 eggs and subsequent care of the young.
