Identification

21cm. Dark, rusty back and long, broad tail.

Distribution

North-west Kimberley, Western Australia.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Rugged sandstone plateaux with shrubby vegetation.

Behaviour

The diet includes invertebrates and seeds of various grasses.
