Identification

40-50 c. Long-body, thin neck, small head, overall brown with whitish edging to the feathers of the head, neck and chest, red dewlap and reddish legs.

Distribution

Venezuela and Colombia in north, to Bolivia in south.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Cloud forest.

Behaviour

It follows the migrations of Army Ants.

They nest in a tree, and a single egg is laid.
