Male has a reddish facial mask
Distribution
Africa and the Middle East
Eastern Africa: eastern Sudan, Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia
Middle East: Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Oman.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Woods, bush country and gardens.
Behaviour
Vocalisation
A loud metallic chirping.
