Panama, Brazil, Ecuador, Suriname, French Guiana, Colombia, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

There are 2 subspecies.

Habitat

Lowland moist forests and dry shrubland.

Behaviour

The nest is ball shaped, made from grass, and placed in the fork of a tree.
