34–36 cm 13¼-14¼ in

  • Green overall plumage
  • Yellower on underparts
  • Red forehead and crown
  • Red flecks on thoat
  • White orbital ring (bare skin

Sexes similar

Distribution

South America: found in Colombia and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

Formerly placed in genus Aratinga.

Cordilleran Parakeet was formerly included in Scarlet-fronted Parakeet.
