Extinct. Medium-sized parrot, plumage a mixture of turquoise, aqua, scarlet, black and brown; long tail.
Distribution
Queensland - New South Wales border area of Australia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Behaviour
Nests were made in hollowed-out termite mounds.
Diet was grass seeds.
