Identification
- Uniform dark grey
- Upper mandible is black while its lower one is yellow
Distribution
South America: found in Guyana, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
Taxonomy
Subspecies[1]
There are 2 subspecies:
- C. n. nigrescens:
- Eastern slope of Andes of Ecuador (Napo-Pastaza and Santiago-Zamora)
- C. n. canescens:
Habitat
Moist forests and montanes.
Behaviour
Perches high in the forest canopy.
