29·6–32 cm
- Greyish-brown with reddish tinge to crown and nape
Distribution
South America: found from North-western Colombia to north-western Ecuador.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Primary and mature secondary west forests up to 500m.
Behaviour
Vocalisation
Call: a piercing whistle.
Movements
A resident species.
