Distribution
Africa:
Western Africa: Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola
Eastern Africa: Tanzania, Zambia
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Subspecies venustula is not generally recognised.[2]
Habitat
Brachystegia woodlands and dry savanna.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of insects, foraged from leaves in the canopy. They are often seen feeding with other species, particularly Green-capped Eremomela.
Breeding
The cup-shaped nest is constructed from fibres and cobwebs.
