Elminia albiventris

Identification

Distribution

Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda.

Taxonomy

Formerly placed in genus Trochocercus as Trochocercus albiventris.

Subspecies

There are 5 subspecies^[1]:

E. a. albiventris:

Montane forests of south-eastern Nigeria and southern Cameroon; Bioko

E. a. toroensis:

Montane forests of eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and south-western Uganda

E. a. albonotata:

Democratic Republic of the Congo to southern Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, northern Malawi and Zambia

E. a. subcaerulea:

Eastern Tanzania to Malawi and Mozambique (north of the Zambezi)

E. a. swynnertoni:

Eastern Zimbabwe and Mozambique (south of the Zambezi)

Habitat

Moist montanes.
