Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Coconut and banana plantations and cultivated areas.
Behaviour
Breeding
They nest in holes in coconut palms. The clutch of 2 eggs is incubated for 25 days.
Diet
The diet includes insects and nectar and the shoots of coconut, mango and banana.
