  • M. v. meeki:
  • Western New Guinea (Weyland, Nassau, Orange and Hindenberg mountains)
  • M. v. virago:
  • Mountains of northern New Guinea, Central Highlands and Huon Peninsula
  • M. v. maculiceps:
  • Herzog Mountains and Mountains of south-eastern New Guinea

Habitat

Mountain forest.
