Description
Five species of Berrypeckers from New Guinea.
All species live in forest and feed on berries and small arthropods.
Taxonomy
Melanocharis is a genus in the Family Melanocharitidae.
Spotted Berrypecker and Thick-billed Berrypecker are sometimes included in this genus.
