Genus: Napothera
Description
This genus contains nine species of Wren-Babblers from SE Asia.
They are small to medium-sized, long to short rictal bristles and tails shorter than the wings. The genus is quite divergent and sometimes split up into four genera (see taxonomy).
Taxonomy
Napothera is a genus in the Family Timaliidae.
Some authors only place three species in this genus (Eyebrowed Wren-Babbler, Streaked Wren-Babbler and Mountain Wren-Babbler). The other species are then placed in Turdinus and Gypsophila. The two species of the genus Robsonius have also been placed in this genus.
