Genus: Robsonius
Description
This genus contains the three Ground Warblers from the Philippines.
They differ from the babblers of the genus Napothera by:
- lacking rictal bristles
- having part-feathered nares
- broad white tips on wing-coverts and outer primaries
- copious elongate rump feathering
- a long and slightly hooked bill
- walking habit
Taxonomy
Robsonius is a genus in the Family Locustellidae.
It was formlery included in the genus Napothera and in the family Pellorneidae or Timaliidae.
