Alternate name - Marsh Wren
Identification
Male brownish upperside, greyish underside, shoulder black with white spots. Female similar upperside, streaked black and paler underside. The white dots on the shoulder may come together as two white wing bars.
Distribution
Brazil in coastal Paraná, Santa Catarina and Sao Paulo states. Endangered.

Habitat
Marshland, riverine and mangrove swamps.
Behaviour
Eats insects and other arthropods.
