Genus: Illadopsis
Description
This genus contains seven species of babblers from Africa.
They are similar to Ptyrticus but they are much smaller, have smaller bill and legs and a rather uniform coloration. They also have short and less obvious rictal bristles.
Taxonomy
Illadopsis is a genus in the family Timaliidae.
The species of this genus have in the past be included in Malacocincla or Trichastoma.
