Genus: Ptyrticus

Description

This genus would contain just one species of Babbler, the Spotted Thrush-Babbler from Africa.
It's characterized by its thrush-like appearance with its strong legs.

Taxonomy

Ptyrticus is a monotypic genus in the Family Pellorneidae.
It's now included in the genus Illadopsis by Clements and Dickinson.
