Zosterops bowiae Horne, 1907 OD here
About eighteen months ago Miss Bowie had in her aviaries a gray Zosterops, or White-eye.
Here
Our members. Dr. Geo. Home and Miss E. Bowie, have generously presented to ...

The Eponym Dictionary of Birds claims
Silvereye sp. Zosterops bowiae Horne, 1907 NCR [JS Zosterops lateralis lateralis]
Helen Bowie (fl.1907) was an Australian ornithologist and founder member of the RAOU. Her uncle, the aviculturist and ethnologist Dr George Horne, described the bird. She was an army nurse in France (WW1) in the unit of which Horne was the senior officer.

The Key to Scientific Names
Helen Bowie (fl. 1907) Australian ornithologist, founder member of RAOU, neice of aviculturalist and ethnologist Dr George Horne (syn. Zosterops lateralis).

I assume neice is a typo? aviculturalist or aviculturist?

So for sure not for the same person/celebrity as in the Heteropoda davidbowie Jäger, 2008. Ground Control to Major Tom.

Apart from that it would be interesting if...
1) E. Bowie is than a typo?
2) What her life dates are?
3) Eventually marriage and new name?
