Zeiss Conquest HT Objective Covers (2 Viewers)

Are there any alternatives to the Vortex covers?

Quite a few of the other brands have perfectly good over-barrel objective covers, Blood, and these can be had fairly inexpensively, just ring them and ask.

I found a pair to fit mine quite easily.

Here's a Conquest HD 8x32 refabbed for dayhunting : replacement heavy duty strap, no-name brand over-barrel covers taped on (I guess you could also use bike inner tube repair rubber solution), blue Zeiss flag masked.

It all works well and anything is better than the current Zeiss objective covers.

I've just received a set of Vortex Viper HD 42 objective covers from Vortex for my Conquest HD 10x42. They are soft rubber, so they wrap around the angled armor very tightly.

I just wish I was able to get these covers without the Vortex logo!

EDIT:

Has anyone tried these with the Conquest HD?

I just got a set of Vortex tethered objective covers for my
10x42 Conquest HD, size medium, and they fit perfectly.

Now I have the lenses protected, and only $9.99 with free shipping
from Eagle Optics.

I think this is a great way to go.
