Yellow-breasted chat ??? Norwich UK (1 Viewer)

Just saw what looks like a yellow-breasted chat in central Norwich UK.

Never seen a bird like it here.

Size - slightly smaller than a starling. Light tan brown top. Yellow front and underside. Long tail with some white in it.

Could it be a chat or something else?

Thank you.

Thank you, James. Just looked up the grey wagtail. I think you might be correct. Never seen a bird like that here in central Norwich before although I do occasionally see pied wagtails.

Grey Wagtails are regular in many town/city centres in winter. Now you've seen one ....

Somebody on the main listing site thinks they have already seen Red-breasted Nuthatch (Attenborough last week), Little Tern (north Wales last week) and Yellow Wagtail this year. It is always surprising how many things can get mis-identified.

Don't forget the Sedge Warbler ... (noticed that in the week too ;) )

(Not meaning to diss the OP - you only know what you know.)
