I can’t get close enough to see who it is but I heard this call over the last month probably a dozen times. I hear it during the day in many different directions around my neighborhood in Cherry Hill, NJ. And I hear the same call at night when it’s completely dark. I’ve heard two birds calling to each other with the same call. The call sounds similar to a dove but different. Is it an owl, a great horned owl perhaps? Or is it something else? The “hooots” are faint so please turn up the volume to hear them when listening to the audio attachment. Can you solve the mystery?
