Also, a more compact size but I don't think it is possible and still keep the high optical standards.Nikon WX- more production and lower price-hopefully

Yup. That would be a good one. Sealed and waterproof too.Nikon SE 8x32 8.8 degree FOV latest and greatest glass\coatings
I agree, a modern 7x35 with a minimum 8* fov would be great. But I too can't name an older model, not being familiar with any.I'd love an alpha 7x35 porro. I can't name a particular model, because I've never had the chance to look through one of them old ones. I'd certainly prefer a Leica. I've also heard good things about the Bushnell Rangemaster (Fuji).
And I'd love a 6x24 Trinovid.
How a Nikon Action 7x35 porro with upgraded optics and sharper edges.I agree, a modern 7x35 with a minimum 8* fov would be great. But I too can't name an older model, not being familiar with any.
I would rather see a new EDG III 8x32, a little more compact and lighter weight. The Nikon SE 8x32 is pulling ahead of the field with five people liking my original suggestion, another making the same point which has also been liked.
Sounds good. I used to own the Action EX 7x35 and a Minolta variant of it. As well as upgraded optics, lighter weight would be good too . The 9.3* fov with much better edges / bigger sweetspot would be great. How a Nikon Action 7x35 porro with upgraded optics and sharper edges.
Have one and save for the too-easy-to-move diopter adjustment, they're a great pair of binoculars.Vortex Fury 6.5x30....it's still a favorite with me.
What part of Idaho do you live in?Love to have seen Nikon's 8x32 SE more ergonomically friendly with a bit more eye relief. I had mine for about 10 years and in spite of their superlative optics, had to pass them on to another person a couple years ago.
