Western Wisconsin--Thrush ID's (1 Viewer)

These shots are from about 10 days ago, May 15. I ID'd them all as Hermit Thrush, but now looking at the shots I'm wondering if that is what they all are. There were a lot of them and they were quite active, probably 15 individuals. Photos 1 and 2 (different birds) seems to lack any sort of wing bar and the eye ring did look more buffy than white, which makes me wonder about Swainson's. The spotting on the chest was also quite weak, I could only see it after looking at the photo, whereas in Photos 3 and 4 you can see the spotting is darker and the eye ring looks more white, more like Hermit. I've never seen a Veery, so I guess I can't rule that out for photos 1 and 2, so let me know what you think!

Second one looks like Veery. The others between Swainson's & Grey-cheeked.

2 is a Veery (minimal very light brown spotting on the breast) and the rest are Swainson's Thrushes (buffy spectacles with "bridges", slightly darker spotting than Veery).

KC, Wood Thrushes have extensive very dark spotting on the breast and belly, and gray faces with white eyerings.

Thanks! I thought that the latter two looked like the eyering was a little more white than buffy, but I didn't notice the 'bridge' diagnostic.

Agree 1, 3 and 4 are Swainson's and 2 is a Veery.
