All images here are the same bird. I think it is likely a reed warbler, but I never were very good with these. I do not believe I heard any voice from this bird.

Yes reed warbler (e.g. bright rufous brown tones cf marsh). I read something about how some other African forms/subspecies/species are in (especially southern) Spain; could include Alicante. Quite how you tell them apart, though...

Also split not universally accepted and confusion as to which population is which iirc. Unlikely to be able to identify on basis of these photos (probably require at least wing formula)
