UK binocular deals, special offers and bargains (1 Viewer)

Nikon HG 10x42 at Vikingopticalcentres looks like decent deal (anything warranting "bargain" status seems to disappear in blink of eye these days). Nice eye relief for a spectacle user and a free workout every time raise them to your eyes. Armour looks in good nick.

Opticron Verano BGA VHD 8x models, having been discontinued it seems, now available at half retail from a number of retailers (eg. SWOptics and Opticswarehouse). If interested might want to check Steve C's reviews on this site; was very keen on 8x32 but encountered too much eye relief/too short eyecups issue with the 8x42.

And for those into low magnification options, how about a cheap demo model of a Viking 6.5x32 MD available at VikingOpticalCentres. Rattly eyecups, spartan finish, not wide field, a bit heavy for a 32, AMD meaning not great panning behaviour but very "sharp", colour neutral, absolutely loadsa eye relief available (and eyecups do extend plenty enough) and super fast and smooth (& close) focus.

Clifton Cameras have some rather nice Zeiss deals at the moment, Conquest HDX's are 10% off with a free Zeiss Secacam3 trail camera PLUS Zeiss cashback.

The highly regarded Victory Pocket 8x and 10x have a double discount, effectively 20%, PLUS a £100 Zeiss cashback making the 8x25 £419.2 (after discounts and cashback).

Would have been rather rude not to have ordered a pair.

@PatR Many thanks for the very timely heads-up! That's my credit card bashed to the tune of a 8x32 HDX

As an aside, it's funny how Zeiss are once again trying to get rid of surplus trailcams. Guess they're just not selling well...

Congratulations! Lovely, lovely bino's and I do love the smell of Visa Card Reader on rapid-fire! Especially when it is not mine.

I have the old 8x32 HD's and they are superb. I am very tempted by the HDX 10x32's but there are only so many lives left on my worthless hide and I know that my beloved would practise body carving with her new Rosselli knife.

But................graveyards full of people with money in the Bank so who knows? (Its a mantra I keep repeating to my self!).

(yes, the reports on the Secacam3 vary a bit and I suspect Zeiss are keen to offload a few....but for £0.00 they are undoubtedly a bargain!).

Yes they should perfectly fit the bill for a robust everyday binocular that can take a few knocks on safari too :)

Sadly, unless Clifton Cameras are doing something funky with IP addresses etc, it looks like the additional discount on the HDX range may have already expired. If so then I'll count myself a doubly lucky chap!

As for dodging the new Roselli, hopefully that purchase cancels out your incoming 8x25 🤞

They must have cottoned on sharpish as the discount has indeed been errr...discounted!

We are both double lucky and fair play to Clifton for honouring the price. I suspect someone is having an interview without coffee!

Yes the Rosselli will remain in its sheath 'till the next time!
