At Deeping Lakes in Lincs today - Black Terns have been reported here recently, including the day before my visit, and I think I have young Black ones here, because of the 'collar' looking dark markings separate from the cap? The Common Tern juveniles/1st-winters in my books don't seem to show that, but I'd like some experienced eyes on them to be sure, cos it'd be a lifer for me if I really have seen them!

Thanks for that! And I learnt a new term too, now I'll think shoulder peg rather than them dark collar-looking bits, hah!
