Hello experts - Can anyone tell me what it is and how it’s used? There are no identifying marks and no dimensions for the threading. It all screws together into the larger ring making one unit that screws onto the eyepiece holder. The smaller, adjustable ring with a screw fits into the larger ring and is then held in place with the slightly smaller ring. FWIW, AI utterly failed on this - advising it’s part of an express machine.

Thanks for looking!

Those items seem to be the parts of a filter holder. The glass filter of your choice is put into the bit in the middle and fixed with the screw. Then that assembly is placed into the part on the right and the part on the left is screwed into that to secure the filter assembly. Finally the whole caboodle is probably screwed onto the eyepiece.
