Southern Red Bishop? (2 Viewers)

Would like ID help for this bird seen 6 Dec. 2024 along the banks of the Kafue River north of Chirundu, Zambia. My first
thought was Yellow-throated Bush Sparrow due to the prominent supercilium, but the bill and legs are pinkish. Merlin returned
Yellow-mantled Widowbird for the bird on the left and Southern Red Bishop for the bird on the right. Neither have the supercilium I
see on these birds. Thoughts please. Thanks.

(both birds are the same species...)

Probably the bishop. The widow bird should have a yellow shoulder patch, a smaller bill and a less obvious supercilium. Of the bishop:

Non-br. male and female have a broad, buffy supercilium, finely streaked breast and brownish bill.

(Sasol S. A. guide). ... Images vary but there are certainly birds that look +/- the same as these. Ruling out other species like yellow-crowned bishop is more difficult. I think that has a darker crown but non-breeding/female bishops are difficult
