On holiday last week on the Isle of Skye we took a boat trip to see the sea eagles. They go to the area of a sea eagles nest and the skipper tries to lure an eagle by lobbing a fish into the sea. Its not always successful but thankfully on this occasion it was. Its absolutely amazing to see the eagle glide down from the cliffs and snatch the fish a few feet from the boat.
As well as the sea eagles we saw a couple of golden eagles but some distance away. There were also puffins, a black throated diver, shags, ravens, black guillemots and a red throated diver seen from the boat.
