SANDISK 8GB EXTREME III where to buy

I am looking to buy a SANDISK 8GB EXTREME III 30mb/s memory card as a spare, found
one about £45 in Hong Kong, anyone know same or better price in UK, must be 30mb/s not 20 mb/s.

Cheers

BTW Compact Flash

Check the Money Saving Expert website as there is a price comparision on it to find the cheapest sources and even some affiliated links to suppliers with more favourable prices.

Far too many resellers of OEM equipment when it comes to Sandisk cards. My advice, after being stung by a shyster on an auction site is to go with established and respectable outlets such as Picstop or 7dayshop. Currently using 16GB Sandisk extreme III 30MB/S CF and Sandisk Extreme III SD cards from picstop without any problems

As Chris says 7dayshop are great, if you go to them via the website I recommended you might get an extra quid off.

Its a tenner cheaper so just sent them this email

Can you confirm this product is Sandisk in original package and comes with rescue disk and that it is 30mb/s speed

I had no reply from the amazon seller so they are in the bin...

Just emailed 7day for information on a usb card reader for the extreme III CF
there seems to be a bit of confusion on which card reader is OK with extreme III CF

Bought loads from 7Day Shop including lens, cameras, bits and never once had a problem.
Even corrected my wrong specification!

I have bought printer ink, inkjet paper, clone batteries, jump drives & memory cards from 7Day & never had a problem with either the packaging or any other customer service issues.

Bought all my most recent cards from Picstop who either ship from the Isle of Man or Jersey and again never any issues about passing off OEM cards as genuine Sandisk

I've bought a fair few things from 7dayshop over the years, most of it has been fine but not all. Many years back I purchased a camera that was listed as being the UK model but instead they sent the US version and a UK charger! It took over a week before they replied to my emails about it, not good service and it put me off them for quite some time.

It does seem that there might be something odd happening with them, a couple of people have reported being sent Sandisk cards without the proper packaging. Also they seem to have stopped selling cameras and lenses...

I bought them direct from Amazon at £39.99 never had problem with them and a multicard reader

Thanks for your comments
