A couple around, on this windswept coastline. So, folks educate me here, are Rock doves just common pigeons, or is there a distinction between wild rock dove etc etc.

A couple around, on this windswept coastline, thought was just a common pigeon at first, but looks like a rock dove in my guide having looked at the pic.

They are the same species. This one looks quite like the original wild Rock Dove, but genetically you can't slide a fag paper between them and Domestic Pigeons.
