Please confirm Song Sparrow - Moab, UT USA (1 Viewer)

Hi, all.

I went hiking at the Matheson Wetlands preserve here in Moab yesterday (BRRRR - very cold!), and saw a new bird. He looks like a sparrow, but he was big (about 6" long, maybe more), and he acted like a wren. He was fast, darting around the ground and bushes, and held his tail up with he ran and hopped. The closest thing I can find for an ID is Song Sparrow. I have never seen one before.

The reason I am posting this, is that I seem to have photographed more than one variety of them. The first photo is of one that was VERY white on the bottom, and paler on top. The other photos all seem to be darker - slate grey, chocolate brown, and lighter buff-grey on the bottom. Can anyone tell me what I really have here?

Thanks for any help!
