Hi again,
I need more help to identify some birds that I saw in Yellowstone National Park last summer. All were seen in the north of the park.
(1) Bird seen in Lamar Valley, to be exact in the Soda Butte Creek, very near to the water in the river. The habitat was an small river with riparian vegetation, and with plain areas around, with some forests a little bit far.
(2) Bird observed in Mammoth Hot Springs. Could it be a juvenile of Chipping sparrow (Spizella passerina)?
(3) Bird seen also in Mammoth Hot Springs.
(4) Bird observed in Blacktail Plateau Drive, in an area that previosly was burned, and now contains dead trees. In my previous post I saw a olive-sided flycatcher (Contopus cooperi) in the same area, but I am not sure about this picture (seems to have more wing bars).
(5) Bird seen in the trail along Lost Lake. Area with forest with some clearings. Again a chipping sparrow?
Thanks in advance.
Antonio
