A while back I was asked to introduce myself, I work a lot of hours, in my free time, I'm outside. Every chance I get! Anyway, thought I'd share a picture of my walk yesterday. That's the South Branch Mtn on the horizon. Our leaves are past their peak, we've had frost, off and on for a month. With the dry summer that we've had, our leaves never did really peak, and get vivid, like some years. Still pretty. Hope you enjoy the pic.

Hello Red, if I may use your first name,

Where in the States, are you located?

Happy bird watching,
Arthur

Well, my first name is Tim. I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Hardy County. I'm an hour drive from Winchester, VA and an hour from Cumberland, Md.

About 300 miles upstream from DC. As the creek flows.

I live in a beautiful part of the country, and I take lots of pictures. The picture yesterday, the dog and I were up about 2,800 feet in elevation, the leaves are dropping fast.

Just a beautiful day to be outside!

A friend and I were out the other day and bumped into a bobbin of robins. I'd guess there were between 40 and 50 head total. They were in the lower end of this pasture, (off to the right). So, it may be a while before I get to see robins again.
