No more photos. Feet are a strange colour for Common Gull, and it's paler than the Herring Gull (didn't seem small enough either), but I see where you're coming from.

Looks like a leucistic Herring to me

Or just with bleached coverts, quite normal at this time of the year.

Herring Gull was my conclusion, but the dark bill is unusual for a bird that age.

That's partly why I went for leucistic. I took it to probably be 2cy (I know 3cy can have retarded bare parts though), and even allowing for wear (I live by the coast so I can't look out my windows without seeing loads of Herring Gulls!), I still thought it looked too pale for it to just be wear.
