Today's highlights

Spoonbill - an impressive 34 on the reserve this morning
Arctic skua - 2 offshore
Green sandpiper - 1 on fresh marsh
Greenshank - 4 on fresh marsh
Spotted redshank - 4 on fresh marsh
Common sandpiper - 2 on fresh marsh
Turtle dove - 1 on fresh marsh
Wigeon - 3 in reedbed
Ruff - 35 on fresh marsh

First day of Autumn.
Icky, Wryneck and Greenish over last 2 days.
I gave Caister and Winterton south a bash this morning, Wheatear and Whinchats the prize. Surely more out there. Saw one birder at Caister, but he did not want to chat! Next few days could be good.

Spoonbill - 21 on fresh marsh but mobile
Yellow legged gull - adult on fresh marsh late morning
Common sandpiper - 7 on fresh marsh this afternoon
Little egret - 61 roosted on reserve last night

Ruff - 52 on fresh marsh
Green sandpiper - 1 on Patsy's reedbed

Wonderful afternoon at Burnham Overy Dunes and Gun Hill with Whinchat, Stonechats x 2, Willow Warblers x 3, Wheatears x 2, Spoonbills x 3 east, Lizard lounging in a privet bush, found by Andrew Bloomfield. But the highlight was 172 Ringed Plovers, 93 Sanderlings and 104 Dunlin standing together on the white sands, opposite Gun Hill at high tide! Also hundreds of Common and Black-headed Gulls swirling round in the skies catching flying ants.
