Hi to everyone, I am new new to the forum, and am currently in Breckland, but previously in Fenland, British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, London and the New Forest.
Stumbled on the forum as I did not know a jargon phrase that was cropping up on another site - Thank you all on Acros and Acronyms.
I have been watching, not twitching or listing, for over fifty years; I just enjoy watching birds, and usually recognizing them, or making notes to check later.
Your oddity may be quite common for me, and vice versa, so lets chat.
Best to all
Harry

Hi Harry and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news. .... I'm also pleased to hear that we've been of help to you already and would love to know which bit of jargon it was that you had to look up!;)

LOL yeah... a tricky one. But quite obvious when you know, isn't it.

I may have unknowingly done it in the garden yesterday... whole bunches of redwings, starlings, and finches and tits passing through. I had no idea i was viz-migging.

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
