New FZ2000 (1 Viewer)

This has just been announced:

It is supposed to be on sale by the end of the year, at the reasonable (!) price of £1100.

Slightly heavier than the FZ1000, it focusses down to 3cm (instead of 1cm) and seems to be aimed more at the video market. I eagerly await reviews of its still shooting capability, however.

I too am awaiting the reviews of the production models, but I suspect that there aren't enough improvements to make me want to shell out $1500 Australian for a camera that doesn't have any improvement in the stills department over the FZ1000. The small increase in zoom, while welcome, isn't enough.

Really tempted, but it's a lot of cash to make a plunge on the FZ 2000/2500. I need to see more reviews and stills to make the jump!
