I live in Tampa Florida and just had this gorgeous visitor splashing around in my fountain.

Could this beauty be in the Oriole family?

I just figured out it is a Venezuelan Troupial! Never even heard of this bird! Might be here in Tampa due to the hurricane?

So they're in the Caribbean. Beryl must have swept him up north.

It is a bird often kept in cage (unfortunately) and it might also be an escapee.

Far more likely to be an escaped cagebird.
