Name a Bird You've Photographed (19 Viewers)

3611. Banded Prinia, Prinia bairdii
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda, November 2022

This is actually split as Black-faced Prinia on IOC taxonomy so I have amended on the spreadsheet & Banded Prinia remains to be played.

All the best

4789. Banded Prinia, Prinia bairdii, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda in November 2022.

So this is Black-faced Prinia on IOC taxonomy and a duplicate.

1734. White-throated Mountain-gem, Costa Rica
Here's another blunder of mine - This entry should have been Grey-tailed Mountaingem, Lampornis cinereicauda, from Costa Rica. So White-throated Mountaingem, L. castaneoventris should still be available, if it comes up -- I may have a photo from Panama. They're lumped in Clements.

I have never seen a Mississippi Kite. I chased one once in South Carolina, and found another bird named for a US state (or two):
4796. Carolina Chickadee, Poecile carolinensis, Hunting Island SP, Beaufort, South Carolina, United States in July 2015
