I have updated the list and corrected an earlier New Zealand parakeet on the list which had been recorded wrongly. My Reischek's had been put down as Malherbe.

Hopefully Meyer's Parrot is one that I will see before the end of the month. I had a few parrots prepared but I will go with a tangent...

On the day, I saw my first Fasciated Tiger Heron, I was mainly photographing:-

Of course! I've only ever seen Hoatzin on one trip, near Puerto Maldonado, Peru at Posada Amazonas, in February 2005. Among many birds we saw there, on the same day as one of the Hoatzin sightings, was this:
