Name a Bird You've Photographed (18 Viewers)

Sorry for the break in the thread, but Andrew's Eleanora's Falcon reminded me that I made my navigator head off his charted course and sail south to Tilos Island (Greece) to see that bird. Many of the photos here brought back memories, and others made me curious about the stories behind them. I was thinking of a companion thread. Maybe, Stories Behind Birds You've Photographed? Anyone else interested? Suggestions for a title?

How does this relate to long-tailed Sibia? Also I think bird of prey might be to weak a relation as well.

There were two 206. Long tailed sibia and bald eagle with same time stamp. I guess it’s a fitting reply to bald eagle as American raptor

Should I also remove my Peregrine, Yellow-headed Caracara and Common Black Hawk? EDIT: I think the removals would make things more confusing than if I left things as they are.

Long-tailed sibia was posted before, I believe by two minutes. I don't really agree that birds range should be used as a relation. We could easily relate all British passerines as British passerines and at least they are in the same order, however it would make the game pretty trivial. Guess its Benji's call.

I think bald eagle as a symbol of America and American kestrel. It doesn’t really matter to me. I was just explaining that it wasn’t a reply to sibia

For my part, I was not considering range. I was merely posting a raptor because I believed the post before mine was a raptor. However, other raptors were posted after I posted the American Kestrel. If I remove my raptors then the other raptors posted won't make sense. I agree that Benji should decide how we should proceed. Things move quickly sometimes and there will no doubt be more glitches in the future.;) I did see the Sibia. I should not have responded to the American Eagle. My apologies.
